This is a very interesting development! Adobe have had their own online version of Photoshop available for a while now but Sumo Paint beats that into a cocked hat! I notice that there is a paid for version which allows you to download the app to use like Photoshop (I suspect it also opens up the range of fileformats available too), but the cost is quite reasonable.

The speed of this app is astounding - I had assumed the video was speeded up to make it look more impressive; but it actually does run at a good speed, even on my slow connection.

At the very least, this type of app should be causing Adobe to wobble in their boots; it's about time the big boys of publishing had some serious free competition!
